I recently got a twitter account and I would like to put a picture with my profile. Ive tried to upload dozens of pictures and it keeps saying there was a problem. It also says the picture might be too big but they all have been under the limit, 700k. Ive also tried it on 2 different computers. Any suggestions?

From all I’ve seen and heard, it appears that using Twitter is virtually the same thing as texting, and is very close to being the same as emailing. So I’m wondering what the point is. Can you Twitter on devices we already own, or do we need to buy something new?
(And, if we do need a new device, why should we get one if texting and emailing already accomplish the same purpose?)
edit to GWilakers: As if we NEEDED any MORE people texting and emailing us! Geesh!

I’ve just got an Apple Mac and the chat windows in Yahoo Messenger don’t have the little format button (the T with the colour palette), so I can’t change the colour or do italics or anything. I know how to change things in the preferences, but I want to be able to do different colours within one message. Help much appreciated.
