How to get a text when someone updates twitter ?

Logged into Twitter, go to Settings/Devices. Enter your cell number. Twitter will give you a code (example “padwt”) to send to 40404. Send it in a normal text message. When Twitter receives this, it will text you back and tell you that it’s set up.

Go back into Settings/Devices to tell Twitter what time of the day you will/won’t receive texts.
